We have been fortunate to have a lot of happy customers. And many were even willing to post nice things about us online! We invite you to take a look at them online yourself and hopefully someday you can leave a review for Acme as well.
“I recently used Acme Builders to reface my kitchen at the recommendation of our realtor. I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Paul Peczon is a perfectionist and a delight to work with. This was not a particularly straightforward job and he came up with superb ideas and executed them as designed. His prices were very reasonable and he suggested how to keep costs down. It was obvious he really cares about his work and his clients.” – R. P.
“Honest, fair, clever designs, on time, consistent, and fun to have around. There you go – 6 adjectives that fit only one general contractor in the Bay Area. Acme Builders
Paul, Greg, and Johnny extended our dining room, did all interior and exterior walls, installed knock-dead, gorgeous windows, laid a hickory floor, rewired, re-plumbed, poured the foundation and raised the roof beams. All top quality, excellent work.
Paul made great design suggestions as he went along – moving the window slightly so it wasn’t in line with the porch post, exposing a glue-lam, etc.
Extras – conserved materials so that waste is minimized, shopped for good deals, knows green materials, and good sense of humor too!
Does Yelp allow potential customers to contact former clients? If yes, I’ll gladly give recommendations.” – Tom R.
“Very satisfied with Acme Builders Paul Peczon and his crew at Acme Builders do a very good job. They are on time, their workmanship is excellent and the price is fair. Also, Paul is willing to try experimental work. On my job, we had very little precedents to go by. Paul came up with innovative and workable ideas.” – S. Alderson
“We asked Paul to do some earthquake retrofitting.
Paul and I started by consulting with a structural engineer. It was obvious that the two of them talked the same language. From the type and placement of anchor bolts and hold downs to how to tie the rebar for the concrete. Paul knows what he’s talking about.
Paul and his crew were great to work with too. Great guys and hard working. They started work as soon as they arrived in the morning and cleaned up before leaving in the evening.
There were no hidden items in the work scope. The cost was just what was bid.
I’ve already got future projects in mind. I know that I want Paul and his team to do them.” – Ed A.
